Update Eight: Auckland fuel supply issue
Update Eight: Auckland fuel supply issue
Air New Zealand is expecting to operate its regular scheduletomorrow with no fuel related cancellations.
The airline’s domestic network has operated largely as normal for the past two days. The airline cancelled just one return international service today between Auckland and Houston.
The airline is continuing to implement a range of measures to reduce fuel uplift in Auckland including some long haul international services making refueling stops at either Australian or Pacific Island airports.
Air New Zealand remains in close dialogue with key stakeholders including Government, its agencies and fuel companies and believes the situation is stabilising and will continue to be manageable in the absence any further complications.
