Great Taste Trail update- trail open with detours
95 percent of the Great Taste Trail remains open, with
detours around three sections of the trail
closed:
• Richmond to Lansdowne Rd
• Rabbit Island
Beach
• Mapua Foreshore
Detours are in place
and maps are available on the Cycle Trails Trust website
Despite the recent storm all the businesses associated with Tasman’s Great Taste Trail are open and are able to assist people in their continued enjoyment of one of the country’s great rides.
The
Nelson Tasman Cycle Trails Trust is working closely with
Tasman District Council to reinstate the damaged sections as
soon as
possible
