It’s snowing at Mt Ruapehu! And it’s looking great for the upcoming opening of Happy Valley ski field next weekend, Queens Birthday. 20cm of snow fell at both Whakapapa and Turoa Base Areas yesterday, so it’s looking promising for a great start to the 2018 ski season.

Also a real taste of Mt Ruapehu is coming to Auckland this weekend with a huge snow dump on Saturday morning at 11am – 2pm at Wynyard Quarter.
