(IMAN) organized the family-oriented event on 24 June 2018
to mark the Eid celebration for Wellington Muslims
This invitation was for all the Wellington region community members
IMAN provided:
+ Free BBQ Sausages
+ Free Healthy Salad
+ Tea and Coffee Facilities
+ Bouncy Castle
+ Free Meal
+ Community members brought a plate of food to share the Eid Blessings with others
This event was also to mark the volunteers who helped during the month of Ramadan and small cash prizes were given to the Wellington youth and kids
Certificates of acknowledgment to the volunteers of Ramadan will be presented in our forthcoming AGM
The venue of the event was Kilbirnie Mosque in Wellington, from 10.30am and 1.30pm
"This event was very successful. People came along and shared their joys and happiness together with the other community members. There was a lot of positive feedback from the community and insha Allah (God willing) our next event will be even better," said Tahir Nawaz of IMAN.
