Cathedral steel framing work almost complete
The view of Christ Church Cathedral from Cathedral Square is a lot different these days after recent work to remove steel framing from the western porch area.
The Christ Church Cathedral Reinstatement project team have had two cranes on site with workers removing most of the steel framing from the front of the Cathedral, where the Rose Window once stood.
Stonemasons have been carefully cataloging material recovered from the porch area.
Work on site is expected to wrap up this week and the cranes will be removed.
