Northern Coromandel road works will cause short delays
Delays of up to about 15 minutes can be expected between Monday 11 February and 11 March on Port Jackson Road and Colville Road while work to repair damage from slips takes place at two sites.
A site just south of Otautu on Port Jackson Rd will be worked on from 11 February until 4 March.
Work will take place just north of Oamaru Bay on Coville Rd from 4 - 11 March.
At each location the road will be down to one lane and will be under stop-go management. Delays of up to 15 minutes can be expected.
These traffic delays are to allow construction of retaining walls to improve road stability and to reinstate the road to its full width, which will also improve safety.
We'd like to thank motorists in advance for their patience while the work takes place.
Please contact either Sam Edlin or Matt Busch from our roading team on 07 868 0200 if you have any questions about this work.
