Volunteering - We need some help !

We need a little help.

Is the time right for you to take on a new interest in support of the arts? Join our art loving team by giving us a few hours on a regular basis for a day or two a month.

Our shop and gallery is looked after by volunteers every weekend. We’re looking for help on Saturday or Sunday, once or twice a month, for up to four hours, usually from midday to 4 pm.

You’ll have the pleasure of working with our experienced volunteer staff, spending time in a great gallery and shop, and interacting with other art lovers who visit us. The main duties are to help with sales, to give the other volunteer time to have a lunch break, and some easy admin duties. No experience is necessary – just a smile. We’ll give you any necessary training or guidance.

If you’re able to help or would like to know more please let us know by email to info@nzafa.com or call 04 499 8807 and talk with either Marc, who is our gallery manager, or Beryl who looks after our shop, or drop in if you’re passing for a chat.

You can also download and fill out an application form by clicking here.

The galleries are open daily from 10 am. Entry is free – koha is appreciated
