The biggest lightsaber in the Southern Hemisphere
Auckland’s iconic Sky Tower is joining the many Jedi-lovers and Star Wars enthusiasts around the world to celebrate ‘May the fourth be with you’ – Star Wars Day.
With a white base and a blue top, the Sky Tower will transform into the famous lightsaber from a galaxy far, far away, this Saturday 4th May.
While it may not be the luminescent blade brave Jedi use to fight off their darkest enemies, it will be sure to bring joy to Star Wars fans around the city and the globe - May the fourth be with you.
The Sky Tower is the Southern Hemisphere’s tallest man-made structure based in the heart of Auckland and is one of New Zealand’s most recognisable landmarks.
