Serious Crash, SH2, Muriwai - Eastern

Emergency services are at the scene of a serious crash involving two vehicles on SH2, Muriwai, Gisborne.

Police were called about 10.25am.

Initial reports suggest two people were seriously injured, and another received moderate injuries.

The road is closed and diversions are in place.

Motorists should avoid the area if possible.
