Road Reopened, Disruptions Expected This Afternoon - Update - Crash, Lewis Pass - Canterbury
Lewis Pass Road (SH7) has reopened after a single-vehicle crash earlier.
Initial reports suggested two people had been injured, however it has now been verified they are not injured.
Disruptions to the road are expected through the afternoon as emergency services work to recover the vehicle.
Police ask motorists in the area to slow down and take care around the crash scene, and in general due to poor weather conditions.
