Name Release - Ruahini Canal Crash

Police can now release the name of the man who died after a vehicle entered Ruahini Canal on 22 July.

He was John Riki Paul, aged 66, from Tauranga.

Our thoughts are with Mr Paul's family and loved ones.

Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
