Turangi Rock Climbing Injuries And Arapuni Infant Breathing Difficulties
On Wednesday, July 6, at about 10.50am, the Greenlea Rescue Helicopter was tasked to Arapuni for an infant who was in respiratory distress.
Both mother and baby were flown to Waikato Hospital for further treatment.
On arriving back to Taupo at about 2.00pm, the onboard crew was tasked to Rotorua Hospital to transport a woman in her 80's to Waikato Hospital with a serious medical condition.
Later that evening, the Greenlea Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to Turangi for a woman in her 30's who sustained injuries whilst rock climbing.
The patient was flown to Taupo Hospital for further treatment.
