Update: Unexplained Death Dunedin
The cordons on Eglinton Road, Dunedin will remain in place overnight as Police continue the scene examination into the death of a man on Thursday evening.
Police are working hard to provide the community with the answers they need and piece together what happened.
At this stage of the investigation, the exact circumstances of the man’s death are unclear and we are continuing to treat it as unexplained.
We urge anyone who was in the Eglinton Road area at around 7:30pm last night to come forward and speak with us.
Police are also looking for any CCTV from private or commercial properties covering the area surrounding Eglington Road.
