Royal Oak Jewellery Store Aggravated Robbery Arrests
Four people have been arrested following an aggravated robbery of a jewellery store at the Royal Oak Shopping Mall yesterday afternoon.
At approximately 3pm yesterday Police were called to the Royal Oak Shopping Mall after three offenders stole tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of jewellery from a jewellery store and left in a stolen vehicle.
They were not immediately located by Police.
At approximately 5pm yesterday Police located the offenders and a female associate in possession of a large amount of stolen jewellery and recovered hammers believed to have been used in the robbery.
Three Auckland men, aged 19, 28 and 39 have been arrested and charged with aggravated robbery.
A 30-year-old Auckland woman has been charged with receiving.
They will appear in the Auckland District Court today.
Staff at the jewellery store were extremely shaken but unhurt and are being supported by Police.
