Police Seek Witnesses To Serious Crash, Whanganui
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed a vehicle driving erratically in the area of Longacre Road, Okoia, Whanganui, around midday yesterday.
A red 1997 Nissan Maxima, registration YX4987 was observed driving erratically and on the wrong side of Longacre Road on 30 January.
An oncoming motorist pulled over to let the Nissan pass at about 12.20pm but the Nissan collided with that car.
The driver who pulled over suffered minor injuries.
The passenger of the offending vehicle is in a serious condition in Wellington Hospital.
Police would like to hear from anyone who saw the Nissan and/or witnessed the collision.
