Police are responding to an incident involving a train on Mathias Street near State Highway 73, Darfield, reported around 7:15am.

The Serious Crash Unit has been advised.

State Highway 73, and Mathias Street are blocked and diversions are in place.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and take the alternate route.
