Serious Crash, Athnree Road, Athenree - Waikato

Police are responding to a two vehicle crash on Athenree Road, approximately 1km from the intersection with State Highway 2, Athenree, Western Bay of Plenty District.

Emergency Services responded around 2:50pm.

One person is in a critical condition and one person is in a serious condition.

The Serious Crash Unit has been advised.

The road is closed and motorists are advised to take an alternate route and expect delays.
