Fatal Crash, State Highway 3, Mahoenui

Police can confirm one person has died following a single vehicle crash where a vehicle has driven off of State Highway 3, Mahoenui last night.

Emergency Services responded to the scene around 6pm.

One person was located deceased at the scene.

The Serious Crash Unit conducted a scene examination, and enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.

The road reopened around 12:30am.
