Masterton Water Restrictions Lifted
All gardening water restrictions have been lifted for Masterton, but Masterton District Council is continuing to encourage people to be careful in their use of water.
The Council’s Three Waters Operations & Transition Manager Steve Watt said the past summer had been dry, but a total watering ban had been avoided.
“We would like to thank gardeners in particular for their cooperation as we worked to protect the health of the Waingawa River, the source of our drinking water, but we also want to remind everyone that water is a precious resource that should be used carefully all year round.”
