State Highway 1 Closure To Recover Crashed Truck
A section of State Highway 1 in South Canterbury is expected to be closed for about two hours from about 12.30pm today so a crashed truck can be recovered.
The crash this morning at Studholme, near Waimate, resulted in the truck being in a ditch and its trailer partially blocking the highway. Traffic management has been in place this morning to work around the trailer.
The full closure is in effect between Molloys Rd and McNamaras Rd, while a crane is used to recover the truck from the ditch. A detour is available via Molloys Rd and McNamaras Rd for all vehicles.
A further update will be issued later today.
