Game Day Tickets Can Be Used On Public Transport For Black Ferns And All Blacks Matches
Fans using public transport to travel to the Black Ferns and All Blacks games on 12 July, will have their fare included in the price of their game ticket for Metlink bus, train and harbour ferry trips.
The Black Ferns v Australia game will kick off at 4.30pm, with the All Blacks v France following at 7.05pm.
Game tickets can be used on public transport throughout the day, to enable fans to travel early, reducing congestion and easing pressure on the wider transport system.
Buses and trains will operate on the standard Saturday timetables with increased capacity before the first game and extra services after the second game.
A pre-game service on the Wairarapa Line will depart Masterton at 2.20pm and a return service will leave Wellington Station at 10pm.
Instead of tagging on, fans should show their game ticket, in hard copy or on their phone, when boarding services, as their fare is included in the price of the game ticket.
Standard fares apply to Metlink Airport Express and Te Hunga Whaikaha Total Mobility services.
Plan ahead and travel early on game day using the latest travel information on the Metlink app, website, or by calling 0800 801 700.
