Name Release - Fatal Crash, Waiuku
Police can now formally release the names of the three people who died in a crash in Waiuku on 15 July.
They were Francis (Sesi) Mildred Latu, aged 35, of Waiuku; Marly Tulua, aged 7, of Pukekohe and Oneahi Vailea, aged 5, of Waiuku.
Investigations remain ongoing into the circumstances of the crash which occurred on Masters Road at 3.30pm.
“Our thoughts remain with the families of Sesi, Marly and Oneahi at this incredibly difficult time,” Counties Manukau South Area Commander Inspector Jared Pirret says.
“The family’s request for privacy is ongoing as they continue to grieve for their loved ones.”
Police and the family would like to acknowledge local police staff and members of the public who assisted at the crash site.
