Partial Track Closure At Te Rere O Ōmanawa On Thursday, 24 July
A track and lookout closure will be in effect at Te Rere o Ōmanawa/ Ōmanawa Falls on Thursday, 24 July to allow for a helicopter delivery of materials to the historic Ōmanawa Falls power station for operational work.
This includes a full day closure of the large lookout platform (Wairere Tapu) and lower lookout platform (Te Harikoa lookout), as well as the walking track that connects to both lookouts.
