Caution Urged On Hutt Valley Roads Due To Icy Conditions - Wellington
It’s been a chilly start for Wellingtonians today, with ice reported on roads in the Hutt Valley making driving hazardous.
Police have been called to two crashes in the River Road / Moonshine Hill Road area, where cars slid on the icy road surface. Both happened at around 8.45am.
Fortunately there have been no injuries reported, but these crashes are a reminder to ensure you adjust your driving to the conditions and take it slow if you’re on an icy road.
Stay safe out there!
