Police Appeal For Information On Vehicle Involved In Aggravated Robbery In Whangārei
Whangārei Police need the public’s help to track the movements of a vehicle involved in the aggravated robbery of a Kensington Avenue bar on Friday 25 July.
The vehicle is a white Toyota Aqua with stolen licence plates, registration KHA69.
Two suspects are being sought by Police after entering the bar with a firearm and demanding money. One man reportedly fired a shot towards the roof and assaulted a patron before taking cash from the till and leaving in the vehicle.
Anyone who may have been in the Ngunguru area between the hours of 10:30 pm and 3.00 am Saturday morning that may have dashcam footage that could assist in our investigation is asked to contact 105 online or via the phone. Please use the reference number 250726/2971.
