Upcoming Rock Scaling Work At Greymouth Bridge
Road users in Greymouth are being advised that upcoming rock scaling work at the south end of the Cobden Bridge may result in short traffic delays.
The work due from Monday 11 August to Friday 15 August means delays of up to 10 minutes can be expected between the hours of 9am and 2pm, as traffic is held in both directions. The traffic management will affect State Highways 6 and 7 near the bridge.
Contractors are due to be on site from Wednesday next week, and lane shifts and a 30km/h speed restriction though to Friday 8 August mean minor delays can also be expected at this time.
This work is weather dependent and can be rescheduled at any time.

We thank motorists in advance for their patience and care travelling through the affected area. People can stay up to date with the latest state highway conditions at our Journey Planner site.
