Buses To Replace Off-Peak Trains During Rail Union Meeting
Off-peak services on all lines will be replaced by buses on Tuesday 19 August, between 9am and 3pm, due to the annual general meeting of the Rail and Maritime Transport Union.
Metlink fully supports union members attending this important meeting and apologises for any inconvenience to passengers.
Rail passengers intending to travel during the meeting are advised to plan ahead and allow extra time for their journeys.

Note:
- Buses are currently replacing trains during interpeak times on the Hutt Valley, Melling and Wairarapa lines due to planned infrastructure upgrades.
