Sky Tower Lights For Te Wiki O Te Reo Māori

On Sunday, and to mark the start of Te Wiki o te Reo Māori (Māori Language Week), the Sky Tower will light up with the word ‘Kia Ora’ displayed on its side.

This display is a celebration of te reo Māori and a visual reminder of the importance of language and culture across Aotearoa New Zealand.

Te Wiki o te Reo Māori runs from 14–20 September 2025.
