Keep On Voting!
With 161,318 Wellington voters and voting papers nearly or actually delivered Thomas Morgan, Wellington City Council Eastern Ward Candidate is urging voters to keep on voting and not forget the task…
“With voting underway and a voting period lasting several weeks it is very easy for the idea of voting to slip under the radar or under the fish and chip paper,” he said.
“Voting is the one best ways to set the direction of the community for at least the next three years, if not longer! The responsibility on the candidates who are successful is enormous and the best people need to be in office.”
“As of 19 September for the Eastern Ward 1,072 votes have been received from 28,526 possible voters so there’s a fair few votes to come in. For all of Wellington 6,772 votes have been received for the six wards of 161,318 voters and from the 6,493 voters in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Māori Ward 154 votes have been received thus far.”
