Work Continues To Reopen SH75
Efforts are continuing to reopen State Highway 75, near Motukarara in Canterbury’s Selwyn District, after a vehicle crash this afternoon.
SH75 is closed between MacArtneys Road and Duck Pond Road, and while the vehicle involved has now been towed, a damaged power pole still needs to be repaired at the site.
A detour is in place: northbound traffic should turn left onto Duck Pond Road, turn right onto Ridge Road, turn right onto Hudsons Road, continue following onto Ellesmere Road and turn left onto Edward Street into Lincoln. Southbound traffic should follow the directions provided on site.
An update is expected by early evening.
