Rock Scaling Work To Affect West Coast Travel
People travelling between Greymouth and Westport should expect 30-minute day-time delays from next week, as work is due to be carried out to help keep State Highway 6 safe.
Rock scaling work is scheduled to take place at Meybille Bay, near Punakaiki, Monday to Friday between 17 November and 28 November. The delays will happen between the hours of 7am and 5pm.
If poor weather is forecast, the work may be postponed and notice will be provided in advance. People can stay up to date on the latest at our Journey Planner site.
We thank people in advance for their patience while this important and necessary work is completed.
