Road Resurfacing Night Works On Pyes Pā Road
Road resurfacing night works on Pyes Pā Road and Cheyne Road, between the SH29A roundabout and Braithwaite Lane, will begin on Sunday, 16 November. This work is part of Tauranga City Council’s regular road maintenance programme.
Between 9pm – 6am on Sunday, 16 and Monday, 17 November a full road closure will be in place between the SH29A roundabout and just prior to the Cheyne Road/Pyes Pā Road intersection. No access will be available onto Pyes Pā Road from the SH29A roundabout, with a detour via Ōropi Road and Cheyne Road. Traffic management, including temporary lane closures, will extend onto the SH29A roundabout approaches for this portion of asphalt resurfacing work.
The remaining resurfacing work on Pyes Pā Road and Cheyne Road will be completed under stop/ go traffic management between Tuesday, 18 to Thursday, 27 November, weather dependent.
Please drive carefully when travelling through the works area, follow signage and allow for extra travel time.
