Pāpāmoa East Interchange – Night Closures On 19 And 20 November 2025
The new Pāpāmoa East Interchange is progressing in its final construction phase.
Work to install bridge barriers and remediate road surfacing at the Tauranga Eastern Link Toll Road, just west of the Kaituna River bridge, is planned overnight starting tomorrow, Wednesday, 19 November and Thursday, 20 November 2025.
To enable this work while keeping drivers and construction crew safe, traffic on SH2 will be diverted via the Te Puke Highway between 8pm and 5am each night.
Digital signs on the SH2 Tauranga Eastern Link Toll Road will provide drivers a heads up on this work and changes.
We thank people for their patience while this important work is underway.
