SH6 Closed By Serious Crash
A serious vehicle crash has closed State Highway 6/Harihari Highway on the West Coast, between Kakapotahi and Ross.
Police said it was notified of the multi-vehicle crash, near Donoghues Road, around 1:10pm today. Initial indicators are that there may be serious injuries, police said.
The road is expected to be blocked for some time while emergency services work at the scene.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area where possible and to expect delays.
