New Zealanders wishing to attend Anzac Day services in Gallipoli, Türkiye, are now invited to register to receive their attendance pass for the 2026 commemorations.

It will be the 111th anniversary of the start of the 1915 Gallipoli campaign in which more than 8,000 New Zealanders served, with 2,779 making the ultimate sacrifice.

The New Zealand Defence Force’s (NZDF) John McLeod, the New Zealand lead for the commemorations, says anyone who wants to attend the 25 April 2026 services is encouraged to register online to secure an attendance pass.

“Passes are free. It is essential that anyone who is considering attending registers online to secure their spot,” Mr McLeod said.

The commemorations booking page can be found on the Anzac Day Services ticketing website . This page allows registration for an attendance pass, provides more detail on the commemorations and has a frequently asked questions section.

For those who are unable to attend the international services, a livestream feed will be available for media outlets, and the New Zealand Chunuk Bair commemoration will be broadcast live on the NZDF Facebook page.

Those planning to travel to the services are encouraged to register their travel plans via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s SafeTravel website. The site also provides up-to-date travel advice. Travellers are also advised to ensure they are aware of requirements for entering Türkiye.
