Homicide Investigation Launched In Hamilton
Attributed to Detective Senior Sergeant Stephen Ambler, Field Crime Manager:
Police have launched a homicide investigation after a man died from injuries sustained in central Hamilton this evening.
Emergency services were called to a Lake Crescent address at about 6:15pm, to reports one person had been seriously injured
Shortly after arrival, Police located a second person at the address who had a serious injury to their arm
The initial victim has died at the scene. The second victim is in a stable condition in Waikato Hospital.
Cordons remain in place at the address as Police work to determine who was involved and to locate them.
Residents in the area can expect to see a Police presence for the time being while we progress these enquiries.
