Plimmerton Park & Ride Closing For Urgent Work

The Park & Ride at Plimmerton Station will close for a week from Monday 12 January for resurfacing, which contractors could not do during the holiday period as they were busy working on Transmission Gully.
The subway between the Park & Ride and the station will also be closed for three days from Wednesday 14 to Friday 16 January.
The 107 space Park & Ride is at the end Douglass Close, but free parking will continue to be available in the 45 space Porirua City Council carpark, which is also at the end of Douglass Close.
From there, alternate pedestrian access to the station is 300m south on St Andrews Road (SH 59). The subway remains open between platforms.
Other Park & Rides are available nearby at Mana, Paremata and Porirua stations.
Metlink apologises for the inconvenience and is grateful for the patience and understanding of passengers while this essential work is carried out.
