In The Loop – Metlink Getting Fans To Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran fans can catch Metlink services to Sky Stadium using their concert tickets next Wednesday 21 January, with extra capacity on trains and larger buses running for the British pop star’s Loop Tour show.
Public transport to and from the event is included with the concert ticket, making it easy for fans to travel on Metlink buses, trains and ferries.
The Kāpiti, Hutt Valley and Johnsonville lines will be running with extra services added after the show. These extra services will depart after the last timetabled service times.
The Wairarapa Line will operate a standard Wednesday timetable with no extra services.
Core bus routes will have increased capacity, and the East-by-West ferry will be running at standard operating times.
Ticketing for the concert is 100% digital – instead of tagging on passengers should show their ticket on the Ticketek App.
Plan ahead and travel early on the day using the latest travel information on the Metlink app, website, or by calling 0800 801 700.
Note:
Ticketek tickets cannot
be used on Airport Express and Te Hunga Whaikaha Total
