Chipsealing Works Coming Up On State Highway 2
Night-time maintenance works is coming up on State Highway 2 (SH2) between McPherson Road and Dimmock Road in Mangatāwhiri, which will involve stop/go traffic management between 9pm and 5am.
NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) will be working at multiple locations to carry out chipsealing maintenance from Sunday 22 to Thursday 26 March.
When the team is working, stop/go will be in place to assist vehicles. Please allow extra time for your journey and follow all traffic management instructions.
During the day, all lanes will be open but there will be speed restrictions to allow the chipseal to set and to protect vehicles travelling over the newly laid chipseal.
This work is weather dependent and may change from advertised dates. Please check the NZTA Journey Planner for real-time updates before you travel.
