Dye Testing At Chapel Street Wastewater Treatment Plant Next Week
Tauranga City Council’s City Waters team will be carrying out dye testing at the Chapel Street Wastewater Treatment Plant during the week beginning 30 March.
The work is expected to take approximately half a day and is part of the Council’s preventative maintenance programme. Wastewater services will continue to operate as normal during this time.
A non-toxic dye will be used in the testing process. If a leak is detected, members of the public may notice yellow or orange colouring in the water surrounding Chapel Street.
