State Highway 1/Herbert-Hampden Road is now closed near the intersection of Mile Flat Road, following a crash this morning. Emergency services are working at the site.
People are urged to avoid the area or delay their travel.
8.05am – Blockage after crash on SH1 at Hampden
Road users may face delays after a crash on State Highway 1/Herbert-Hampden Road, just north of Hampden in North Otago, this morning is reported to be blocking the road.
The crash near the intersection with Mile Flat Road is being attended by emergency services and is reported to involved trucks.
