Strong Response To Chief Executive Recruitment Process
There has been a strong response to recent advertising to recruit a Chief Executive (CE) for Queenstown Lakes District Council.
Over 100 applications were received by the closing date of 24 April.
Queenstown lakes District Mayor John Glover said Council was encouraged by the calibre of candidates expressing interest in leading the organisation into the future.
“Councillors selected Brannigans following a procurement process to fill this key role, and we are looking forward to working alongside them in the next stages of the recruitment,” he said.
The next phase involves completing a thorough review of applicants, shortlisting and formal interviews, with the goal of selecting a new CE who aligns with the Council’s values and strategic priorities.
This process is being overseen by the Chief Executive Relationship and Recruitment Committee.
