Newspaper Advertising - Biggest Growth Year Ever
The latest newspaper advertising figures for 2000 show the highest growth ever, up $30m to a record $596m.
"This
shows that the traditional strengths of newspaper
advertising continue to be valued by advertisers" said
Maurice Mehlhopt, Executive Director of the Newspaper
Advertising Bureau.
This increase was achieved despite increasing competition from existing and new media such as the internet.
