TVNZ Chief Executive, Rick Ellis today accepted the resignation of Paul Cutler, Managing Editor TVNZ, who will be leaving the company in a few weeks time to take up a significant appointment in America.
Paul has accepted a senior position with CNN International, to be based in Atlanta, Georgia, CNN's global headquarters.
"Paul's appointment attests to the extraordinary respect and credibility of TV ONE News and Current Affairs in the international arena, and to Paul's valuable leadership of News and Current Affairs during the past 3½ years.
"Whilst I am very sad to see Paul leaving the company after 20 years with TVNZ, I wish him every success and happiness with his new role in America," said Mr Ellis.
