Woolworths (NZ) Ltd advises that No Frills 300ml Soya Sauce, previously named as one of the products to be withdrawn, will remain on the shelves.
Woolworths spokesman Mr Des Flynn, says it has since been confirmed that this product does not contain any fermented soya. It is a man made copy of soya sauce and therefore cannot contain the two compounds that the Health Department is concerned about which are formed during the process of manufacturing soya bean based sauces.
Please delete No Frills 300ml Soya Sauce from any published lists of withdrawn products.
