Carter Holt Harvey Keen to See Return to Work
Carter Holt Harvey was disappointed that union members at its MDF manufacturing site at Rangiora had taken strike action without warning this morning, Tom Newton, Facility Manager, said today.
"We have been in negotiations with unions at the site for some time, and were given no notice of this strike," he said.
"We are disappointed this action has been taken, as we have put an offer to the unions which we consider to be fair."
"We are always happy to discuss and negotiate any issue and we would welcome a return to normal work as soon as possible."
