Business NZ Calls For Public Support For Air New Zealand
Support of and continuing confidence in Air New Zealand by the travelling public is vital, says Business NZ President Doug Marsh.
Mr Marsh said Business NZ's Council, meeting in Wellington today, agreed on the importance of continuing access to competitive air transport.
"It is in everyone's interests for Air NZ to come through the current difficulties as soon as possible. Business NZ's view is that the best commercial decision is the best decision. "The Council also believes the relationship between New Zealand and Australia is far too important to be compromised or jeopardised," Mr Marsh said. "The most useful thing the travelling public could do right now is to continue supporting and showing confidence in Air New Zealand."
