There was heavy trading on the New Zealand Futures & Options Exchange today involving 5168 futures and 5 options contracts traded with a face value of NZ$2.58 billion.
The Dec-01 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled down 1 point at 9513 (4.87%) and the Mar-02 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled down 7 points at 9519 (4.81%). The June-02 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled down 12 points at 9490 (5.10%) and the Sept-02 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled down 18 points at 9453 (5.47%).
The Dec-01 Three Year Government Stock Futures Contract settled down 24 points at 9411 (5.89%) and the Dec-01 Ten Year Government Stock Futures Contract settled down 21 points at 9343 (6.57%).
The Dec-01 NZSE-10 Share Index Futures Contract settled up 22 points at 934.
