1 Cent Per Litre Price Rise
Ongoing increased refined product costs have resulted in Caltex raising petrol and diesel prices nationally by 1c per litre.
This move takes effect this morning at all company controlled sites.
Even with the recent NZ Dollar strengthening, input refined product costs have gone up. By way of example since 18 March petrol input costs have risen by 1.29cents per litre.
This increase takes the price to 109.9c per litre for Vortex regular, 114.9c per litre for Vortex premium and 68.9c per litre for diesel.
Niall Kramer, Manager of Brand and Corporate Communications said “We are always reluctant to raise prices. However these input costs are external and outside of local control & we now need to move pump prices to better reflect these economic forces. We are moving to smaller price moves on an on-going basis.”
