Independent Review Of TVNZ Board Expenses launched
TVNZ Commissions Independent Review Of Board
Expenses
Acting Chairman Craig Boyce today announced that the TVNZ Board has instructed KPMG to undertake an audit of the expenses of former Chairman, Ross Armstrong.
Mr Boyce said that this independent audit would conclude the review of the former Chairman's expenses, which began in September when the Board's Finance and Risk Committee asked Mr Armstrong to review his TVNZ related expenses. This process continued yesterday when Mr Armstrong met with TVNZ's Chief Financial Officer to complete an internal review of his expenses.
The KPMG audit will be conducted in accordance with the Auditor General's Auditing Standards. It is expected that the review will be completed next week.
